I love smokey eyes!!! Sexy, mysterious, alluring, chic, cool... It seems really complicated, right? Not with my smokey eye kit! It absolutely takes all the guesswork out of it.
Just smooth on my cream to powder base, this will keep your smokey eyes smoldering all day. Then take the lightest shadow and lightly dust it all over the lid all the way to the browbone. Next, take the medium tone and lay it from the lashline to just past the crease of your eye. If you have a flatter shaped eye, like me, just go up right past where you can feel your eyeball sit in your socket, then blend up. Take the darkest tone and run that all over the lashline, top and bottom. Finally, finish off with the most amazing mascara to ever touch your lashes.
Here's the story of Volumizing Mascara. As a makeup artist, I have spent my life perfecting the look of a gorgeous, full, luxurious lash. There are lots of tricks that I do when building a beautiful lash but definitely my fave is this: after applying a coat of mascara that I get from Italy, I dust a special powder that I get from the Orient on the lashes that makes them thick and voluminous and super dark. Then, another coat of the Italian mascara. Then I comb through with a crazy expensive diamond-cut lash comb from Paris. Then, more mascara from Italy. Then, more powder from the Orient. Then, the lash comb from Paris...whew! I'm exhausted just writing it! I thought there had to be a better way. We all deserve to have these fabulous International lashes but without the drama and all the work.
That's why I developed my Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara. All of the work and luxurious components in one swipe of a brush! Super easy... just apply as usual and hit the road. Don't forget to wiggle a little at the base to really make those lashes thick at the lashline for super definition. And then, pull through...don't forget to hit the very tip. Another idea: for super voluminous lashes, do one coat, let dry and then go back and do another coat, and so on.
