Perfecting Powder
Item # FA0014
Perfecting Powder is specially designed for precision application so the powder goes only where it is needed. The dabber pot actually delivers the powder through a soft, suede-like puff, that makes it easy to control thanks to its diminutive size. The micro-fine loose powder is lightweight and invisible, not cakey. It simply does its job-to get rid of unwanted shine and touch up throughout the day without disturbing your makeup.
Perfecting Powder Ingredients:
Talc, Magnesium Myristate, Methylparaben, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Ascorbyl Palmitate
May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)
My Daddy and Stepmama are renovating their home, as I loaded up boxes and bins full of memories to clear my old room, I came across my College Graduation picture. Whoa, was I matte!! I sure did loooove the powder. All over. Everywhere.
But, that was the time!!! We were all so dry. . . but for the time, so gorgeous!!!
Well, just like my parents are renovating their home, we too, must renovate our makeup look!! It has become very old-fashioned to powder your whole entire face like I used to. The beauty standard these days is to love the natural, the dewy, the glow, if you will.
This is why I created Mally’s Perfecting Powder! Check it out: There are places that we want to be powdered and there are places that we do not. It all has to do with light. When we powder something, it doesn’t really reflect light as much, so it recedes. When we leave skin natural or even add a bit of shimmer, it pops. For example, we all love our cheekbones to pop (it makes us look slimmer, YAY) so we definitely do not want to powder those. On the other hand, nobody loves a super shiny forehead, so go for it there. You get the idea!
First of all, check out the packaging. Cute, huh? The super-soft suede like puff is the perfect size to work with and is so gentle to the skin. You’ll be sure not to put an ounce of powder anywhere you don’t want it. Next, my powder is so special. So lightweight and invisible, you’ll never even know that it’s there except that you will be so perfect that you will barely be able to stand yourself! Also, check out the mirror on top. This piece is a little bit of portable touch-up heaven!!!
In general, there are some spots that we almost always need to powder: Center of the forehead (the whole forehead works, too if you have oil-prone skin), on either sides of the nose (especially right next to those nostrils) oh and hey, newsflash! It’s totally acceptable for the tip of our noses to be a bit more natural, it actually calls less attention to it because it looks more real, not so heavy and made up, yipeee! Back to our powder spots, just under the nose, above your upper lip, and finally, your chin.
Some tip: Always remember to pat, not rub the puff in those necessary areas. Rubbing will only cause you makeup to move around your face and that’s not the look that we are going for.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this brochure. If you are holding it, it means that you have purchased this item, and that means that you, like me are taking steps every day to grow and expand your horizons beauty-wise and beyond. How healthy of us!
