I am constantly looking for new ways for us to look younger, fresher, and more professional in our makeup routines! There is absolutely nothing better than finding those little makeup tricks that make all the difference…and that take almost no time at all. Matte Wand is one of those fierce little multi-taskers that does all the work for you and makes you look awake and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

Just like its sister product, the Light Wand, this is a trick that I use on all those hard working celebs that need an extra boost (just like you!)…except this one of free of shimmer!

This is how it works: You get a double-ended wand. One end is a soft yet non-mushy pencil that you use to gently draw in the inner corner (the sideways "V") of your eye. Then, take the other end, a perfect matte light-reflecting shadow and soften that “V”, extending a bit into the inner part of the bridge of the nose. It lightens up the eye area and makes you look like you have had a great eight hours of sleep (sure!) and helps to draw attention away from dark circles…all without one hint of shimmer! You can also use it under your brows for an instant “eye lift” and on the cupid’s bow of your lip for a poutier look…

Another great trick for the Matte Wand: I like to call this the “lip sharpener!” This is a trick that I always do when I am doing a client’s lips and boy, does it make all the difference! As we age, our natural lipline becomes less defined and our lips start to droop and bleed. We can fix that! Once you have finished your usual lip routine, take the pencil end of the matte wand. Then, outline the outer corners of your mouth. Next, take the powder end and just like you so on your eyes, soften the pencil line. You can also blend with your finger or a Q Tip to make it undetectable. This is a great tip to make your lipline look sharper and more defined! Watch out!!!
