I have to say, My Loves, makeup is a pretty amazing innovation! To start, we want a smooth base for your eyeshadow to adhere to so that it doesn't crease or move throughout the day. This is the one tool that keeps our eye makeup looking professional, so don't skip it! It takes just a few seconds and the results help your makeup last all day! Plus, it is SUPER easy to apply! Just take your ring finger, swirl it in the eye shadow base, and gently dab onto your lids (fig.1). This is a great formula that dries to a soft powder, so there's no need to set it.
Now, Mama, we are going to move on to my Eyelift Shadow. This product is very special to me, and it is one that I created not for my celebrity clients, but for YOU! So many makeup artists and beauty magazines tell women to apply eyeshadow to their creases to make their eyes look lifted, but so many women (like my Auntie) are unsure where their crease is and how to correctly apply shadow to that area. That confusion ends here! I have created the perfect tool and shades for you to achieve makeup artist results and it is SO easy! Take that AMAZOIS creaseball brush and dip the ball end lightly into the darker shade. Apply it to your crease area, moving the tool back and forth. The ball will "find" exactly where it needs to go... Dare I say, it's MAGIC! Then, take the blender side and dip it into the lighter shade. Apply it directly to the lid in a windshield wiper motion, blending across and on top of your crease area for a seamless professional finish.
Already, I bet your eyes are looking FIERCE! But, it doesn't stop there, Honey! Let me introduce you to (drum roll, please!) Shaping Secret Eyelift Wand! This, My Lovies, is surgery in a pen! The SSEW was inspired by a trick that I had done on many of my celebrity clients; now I am bringing it to you with a product that is super quick and easy to use! First, you have your special eyelift pencil. Take the liner side and turn so that the liner goes vertically. Using your other hand, gently pull up your brow a bit so you have a smooth surface to work on. Then, glide the pencil across the outer half of your top lash line (fig. 4). Next, turn the pencil horizontally and with a skinnier line, finish off the lash line (fig. 5). If it is easier for you, you can start from the inner corner and meet the first fatter line you made in the middle. What you will get is a gorgeous line that is wider and fuller on the outer part of the eye and a thinner and sleeker on the inner part. Finally, take the other side of the pen, the corresponding color powder dabber, and use it to soften and slightly smudge the line you just made to make it look super natural.
Eyelid droop (that sounds lovely, doesn't it? But hey, it's just us girls here, so we can go there!) is a sad but true annoyance from which many of us suffer. But now you know you don't have to go under the knife to fix it! We can use the magic of makeup!
