i am proud to announce that i made my very first "embotido" (Filipino meatloaf) last night! this one had ground pork, ground beef, tofu, quail eggs, red peppers, carrots,Spanish olives, lots of onions and garlic, and homemade tomato sauce to blend it all together. we discovered that the key to a nice authentic flavah flave was pan frying each slice in vegetable oil! YUM!… anyone else have their own recipes to share?
