About Me:

I LOVE makeup!!! I always have. I've been doing makeup for my friends and family since I was a little girl! Sometimes for fun. Sometimes for special occasions. Either way, I always enjoy doing it, and they are always happy with the results! I have always dreamed of becoming a makeup artist, but unfortunately my plan got derailed a while back due to illness. But it's not over yet! I'm always adding to my makeup collection, and still making up myself and others, so there's hope! I'm also a serious beauty product junkie! From makeup to skincare to fragrance...I love it all! I also love music. All kinds, but I have a real affinity for Jazz and Classic R&B. And I love to sing! Makeup, music and singing, decorating, cooking and baking, and hanging out with my family, friends, and pets are my main thrills in life! Oh, and shopping, of course! But that's a whole other story...lol!

My Inspiration(s):

My mom, who is simply the best person I've ever known. My late grandmothers. One, a cosmetologist and music teacher; the other, a savvy businesswoman and entrepreneur. They've all inspired me so much. Too many singers and musicians to name. Looove Billie Holiday! Every fashionista from Grace Kelly to Jennifer Lopez. Pioneers in the beauty industry such as Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden. And sooo many makeup artists! The late Kevyn Aucoin, Bobbi Brown, Francois Nars, and, of course, Mrs. Mally, herself, to name a few! I have to say I find inspiration in independent women everywhere!!! The list goes on and on...

My Style:

I'm definitely a girly girl, but I don't really have a specific style. I'm always changing it up. I love Cameron Diaz's everyday look. I'd say that would be closest to my ideal style. Relatively casual but still snazzy! That paired with a smokey eye, a nude lip, and some fabulous accessories...love it! And I love retro glam! Especially from the '50's. And I love all things pink! But whatever style I go with, from fashion to makeup, even in decorating, I try to take a tip from Mademoiselle Coco Chanel and always keep it classy and fabulous!
