Happy Father's Day 2009!June 20, 2009

On this Father’s Day, I would like to share with the world what an amazing man my Daddy, Dr. Rogelio Roncal, is!

Dearest Daddy,

I can’t believe how blessed I am to have a Father like you. You are everything that a man should be: kind, generous, strong, peaceful, smart, funny, loving, playful, fun loving, supportive, insightful….

Our daughters, Pilar and Sophie, are so very lucky to have you as their Lolo. I’m so excited to watch them grow with your incredible influence! Already, how they ask for you every day, how they light up when you walk in the room, I see this indestructible bond that is truly priceless. These children see and feel the purity of your truth.

To my husband, Phil, you are more than just a Father-in -Law. You are a benchmark to aspire to…as a husband, as a father, as a man. You have been and continue to be a Father to him, as well and I cry when I see how beautiful and loving your relationship is. And I realize every day that although you two may be different on the surface, the core of your souls, beliefs and morals are identical…and that’s why I love him as much as I do.

Daddy, as an only child, you and I have been through so much together! Even with Mommy being sick for so long, I was never afraid, I always knew that you would take care of us…and you never let us down. And then bringing Beautiful Fely, the Beans’ Wonderful Lola, into our lives…I don’t think that we could be blessed more with a more incredible and superb woman…our Family was complete when she came into our lives!

There are no words to thank you, Daddy, for all that you do for me every day. You inspire me to be the best I can be. You make me want to be better, give more, inspire others, never give up, and always honor God in everything I do. Thank you for being who you are to all of us. We respect and honor you today and always.
